Jonochrome (born June 30th, 1994), formerly known as JonBro, real name Johnathan Phillip [unknown last name] is an Indie game developer and animator, most known for being the creator of Riddle School and One Night at Flumpty's.

Jon has since ended both series, and gone into hiatus in late 2021, after controversy. He has since re-appeared in late 2024 and remains inconsistently active.

Name[]

"JonBro" was a pun on his real name, Jonathan, and Brother, as the name was made by his sister, referring him as Jonathan is my Brother.

His later and current username, "Jonochrome" a pun on the word "monochrome", was created shortly after he originally cancelled the rest of the Riddle School series, trying to separate himself from the series.

History with Riddle School[]

2006 - 2008: Original three games[]

In 2006, 11-year-old Jonochrome began working on the first Riddle School game, which was made initially as an homage to Pico's School. It'd be violent and use Madness characters. This quickly died out and the main character was reworked into Phil. The game was released on May 25th, 2006.

The game got good reception, and a few months later, on November 13th, a 12-year-old Jon released Riddle School 2 to also good reception. Jon began work on a Riddle School 3 in 2007, and finished on March 16th, 2008. The game got the highest rated and was considered a fan-favorite.

2008 - 2010: Riddle University and initial ending[]

Jon soon got the idea to finish the series with a Riddle University. However, Jon was burnt out and had no ideas for the first room. The game entered development hell and was eventually cancelled on December 21st, 2009. Jon's friend then gave him the idea to make a prank Riddle School 4, where Phil would die, and Jon was amused. As he was working on the April Fool's Riddle School 4, he had an idea to further troll his audience.

Riddle School 5 remains the highest rated game of all the series.

2011 - 2012: Riddle Transfer and initial cancellation[]

On July 4th 2012, about a year after Riddle Transfer, Jon announced the cancellation of the rest of the series on his Newgrounds, and released the rest of his unused plans.

2016: Inspiration to finish the series[]

On ____, 2016, Jonochrome reportedly was having a bad day, and on that day he also found out that FNAF creator Scott Cawthon was creating a sequel, Sister Location. Jonochrome then lashed out at Cawthon with a salty comment on the game, which gartered him some hate on Reddit.

After the situation was dealt with, Jonochrome made a now archived video reflecting on his mistakes and wanting to fix some problems he had himself.

The 10-year-anniversary of Riddle School was approaching. Coincidentally, around the same time, many YouTubers including DanTDM and Jacksepticeye began playing the Riddle School games. This gave him the courage to wrap up Riddle Transfer's cliffhanger, which had been looming over him for nearly 5 years.

Riddle Transfer 2 took 2 weeks, and released on the 10th anniversary, ending the series once and for all. Afterwards, Jon left Newgrounds, and he made developer commentaries for all 7 games in the series in June.

Blobble[]

Jonochrome was born in 2005, he needs to create a Youtube web-series about a blue penguin getting unlucky days called Blobble, Jonochrome has also that his web-series used to be Club Penguin designs. The name was later used for a code in Riddle School 3.

BlueBlock[]

Jonochrome made another game containing a Minecraft animation with unknown cubes colored in a blue color but has only one player. So he needs to put any player that he wants or why the fuck not?

The Button[]

Jonochrome decided to make a video about a stickman trying to push the button and later he explodes. Jonochrome thought the stickman looks like Phil until he recolors Grunt.

OrangeBlock[]

BlueBlock has the second season but everything on the game is orange instead of blue and there should be one player. So Jonochrome needs to put any player he wants in a orange world.

Rainbow Rhapsody[]

Jonochrome uses to buy the popular old DVD of the same name to make a new game to play it. It has rainbow-flasing scenes and color paint for using Mario Paint for a reason. Jonochrome used to mix-up the computer keyboard and the rainbow xylophone to play it to hear music. The player will touch the keyboard buttons to hear music.

Pain on the Brain 3[]

Larry was born in Friday the 13th, but suddenly he dies over infinity times. Jonochrome use this to be aparted of the Pain on the Brain franchise, have fun kids.

Fish Game[]

Jonochrome needs a children's video game about fishing. Jonochome use any player that they wanted to get fish, he chooses any player that he wants.

Respawn[]

Jonochome has another 8-Bit video game about a red cube humanoid (Or just simply Respawn Guy by Jonochrome.) to be the main protagonist. He is respawned in the game. Jonochrome uses to inspire Meat Boy into Respawn Guy.

Mario meets Kirby[]

Jonochrome uses a story narrated by Daniel Ruchames about Mario landing on Kirby's planet when he is floating on space. It sounds like a fairy tale story but is very strange when some readers read that.

Revive[]

Sequel of Respawn which the Respawn Guy returns revealing gigantic hands during the glitch. These gigantic hands appear because Jonochrome use to make Respawn Guy's hands to look like in Revive.

Dokney Knog[]

Jonochrome was now used to create a web-series based off on a Donkey Kong parody, when he creates the main character, it is Donkey Kong with a fat belly, bloodshot eyes, brown pupils and a deformed design, Jonochome after when creates the secondary character, it is Diddy Kong with a star on his shirt and a grinny face. Jonochrome thought the web-series has 3 episodes though.

Fallopian Bird[]

Jonochrome makes a Flappy Bird parody to be a 2014 video game. The game contains fallopians ripped out from body parts flying inside on the belly after not being crashed by the pink pipes. Jonochrome keeps multiplaying a fallopian.

Scary Ugly Face[]

Another 2014 video game created by Jonochrome is based off on a episode of The Ren and Stimpy Show aired by Nickelodeon. 2 stick-figure brothers named Cedrick and Hamish use money to put a mirror how a deformed face used to see. Jonocrome use to imagine a deformed face because is a baby head with goat-like horns, a snake-like tongue, bloodshot eyes and octopus-like tentacles.

One Night at Flumpty's[]

Jonochrome has his FNAF fan-game called One Night at Flumpty's, about an human-sized crazy cartoon egg named Flumpty Bumpty to go into space with his friend the box-headed humanoid Birthday Boy Blam. Jonochrome talks to his friend what animal to put is to go to the toilet, his friend replies a beaver to put in, but sometimes a beaver humanoid called Beaver. He needs other characters like Redman, Grunkfuss the Clown, Eyesaur and he needs a Golden Freddy copy called Golden Flumpty, the game that he create has 2 versions (Or simply old from 2015 and official from 2020.). Jonochrome decided to put a group of Pop Culture references doing at the old version of the game from 2015 called Easter Eggs (Empty Bempty can be seen in the star.).

April Fools Day at Flumpty's[]

Jonochrome decides to make a April Fools game about Night Guard, Flumpty, Birthday Boy Blam and Grunkfuss. Jonochrome do not put other characters from Flumpty's owned game, these characters include.

One Night at Flumpty's 2[]

Jonochrome needs the sequel of One Night at Flumpty's without the Beaver (Because he will get replaced by the Owl.). Jonochrome use to transform Eyesaur into a giant monster with a dinosaur-like body and with heads of deceased characters, he will also add characters from Flumpty's first game, the game also has old and official. The old version of the sequel of the game has more easter eggs.

One Week at Flumpty's[]

Jonochrome used to create a cancelled sequel of One Night at Flumpty's to add Beaver to return as a undead mummy. The game has various copies containing more easter eggs. Jonochrome use to add characters from Flumpty's previous games.

Ghost Me[]

Jonochrome needs help to UHG to make a trippy song with the Creepypasta called Unwanted House Guest singing when he is the main protagonist of the video. It starts off with the snowy house where Unwanted House Guest lives and later ends with himself inside on the window being alone but singing. Jonochrome used to make the animation of snow in the video.

Pooh[]

Winnie the Pooh has an interview to Jonochrome to have a talk and how hunny is and how he sets people on fire. Jonochrome use to voice Pooh in the video. Christopher Robin was shown to be like a cameo.

One Week at Flumpty's Shorts[]

Sence Jonochrome use to cancell One Week at Flumpty's, he will create a black and white poorly drawn series about Flumpty and Blam. He will not choose other characters from Flumpty's games, these characters include:

Jonkey Kong 64[]

Jonochrome was doing the singing on Donkey Kong 64 with his Pac-Man designed head paste on Donkey Kong's torso but only at the thumbnail. He seems to be singing about rapping or what.

Can't Food[]

Jonochrome creates a Orange Cat cartoon about Orange Cat fighting with his 3D-modeled counterpart of the glitched void. Orange Cat use to get cat food but he fail because of his counterpart was holding a gun.

One Night at Flumpty's 3[]

Jonochrome decided to create another sequel of One Night at Flumpty's to add a new character (Basically just simply called the Beavowl/Bowel.) to kill the Night Guard. He use to add characters from Flumpty's previous games and he will need more characters called the Flumpty Clones (The ones that Flumpty kill his friends and decide to transcending time his clones in space.), such as:

An egg making scary faces (Skull Flumpty).
An egg that glows in a furnace (Furnance Flumpty).
An egg with 8 spider-like legs and 10 eyes (Spider Flumpty).
An egg shaping as a eyeball (Eye Flumpty).
An egg with a red face and no limbs (Flumpty.Exe).
An egg resembling a shadowing figure (Shadow Flumpty).
An egg that enters the door (Door Flumpty).
An egg making the power run out (Power Flumpty).

This cause to Flumpty creating his clones.
